Madeline | Class of 2017

I’m still here! Were you worried?? Now that it’s cold and gray with no sessions in sight and my kids are FINALLY back at school (enough with the sick days, already!), I’m excited to share some of my favorite sessions from last fall. It was filled with gorgeous seniors and wonderful families, so I thought I’d start off my blog-revival with Madeline’s session. Madeline is a senior this year at Bishop Dwenger High School and will attend Purdue in the fall! Go Boilers!

Madeline is on my Senior Rep team this year and I’ve loved getting to know her. She is so kind, funny, a very talented dancer– and completely stunning.

Courtney & Andrew | Class of 2017

When I was little I sometimes wished I’d had a twin, especially a twin brother. I was pretty sure that it would be a whole lot of fun. I love my brother and sister and to have shared even more moments of our childhoods together would have been sweet, right? After photographing these two Norwell High School seniors, I am positive having a twin would have been as much fun as I’d hoped. I had a blast photographing Courtney and Andrew, both separately and together, when I went to their beautiful home this past summer.

Isn’t Courtney a natural in front of the camera? Completely gorgeous.
2016-08-22_0001.jpgAndrew was also very easy to photograph and ridiculously good-looking.

Lydia | Class of 2017

This is Lydia, one of my gorgeous 2017 senior reps! Lydia is a very busy soon-to-be-senior and we wanted to get her senior photo session done before the zaniness of the school year started! We had a gorgeous summer evening to take photos around Fort Wayne. Lydia’s beautiful smile is contagious– I found myself smiling, too, from behind the camera!

I’ve known Lydia’s mom, Sherry, for quite awhile and had heard many wonderful things about her daughter. It was so much fun to spend the evening with both of them!

Thank you, Lydia, for trusting me to be your photographer. Your kind heart and witty sense of humor shine through and it has been such a treat to get to know you!

2017 Senior Rep Team | Boho Tea Party Styled Shoot

I have been dying to share the images from my boho-inspired styled shoot with my 2017 senior rep models. I had SO many pictures and SO little time and then my computer died on me. NOOOO! :(

I’ve been trying to squeeze in editing as much as possible and told myself I was going to get them blogged this week. Here I am at 11pm on Friday FINALLY sharing them.

I can’t even say enough wonderful things about the girls on my team. Lydia, Madeline, RaeAnn, Reyna, Shriya, and Sophi, THANK YOU for bringing so much life and fun to the shoot. You girls are so sweet and kind. Who knew you’d become instant friends?? I cannot wait to shoot with all of you again. I will gush about you individually when I share your very own senior sessions because honestly, I could go on and on about what cool chicks each and every one of you are.

A huge thanks to Hope and her team at The Red Stiletto for their beautiful artistry of the girls’ hair and makeup. The Urban Hippie supplied us with beautiful outfits for our boho shoot and I cannot thank Tammy, the owner of The Urban Hippie, enough for her generosity! Leslie at Centered Jewelry supplied us with her gorgeous stacking bracelets. Maeve Vintage did a phenomenal job creating a look for the shoot that was beyond what I’d even envisioned. Super big shout out to Abby and Tammi for their beautiful styling and for hanging out with us ALL evening. They were packing up in the DARK! Okay, I know this is starting to sound like an acceptance speech, but I really cannot share these photos without acknowledging that I had some amazing people helping me every step of the way. I had awesome assistance from Makaela (who will definitely be on my 2018 Rep Team!) and my fabulous friend Preeti, and Shriya’s mom, saved the evening with a pizza and Starbucks break mid-shoot. Bless you both for helping to keep me functioning.

Enough from me! On with the pictures…

2017 Senior Rep Search

If you know me at all, you know that planning ahead is NOT really something I do a lot. I’m more of an easy-breezy, fly-by-the-seat-of-the-pants-I-just-pulled-back-out-of-the-hamper kind of girl. BUT, when it comes to scheduling senior portraits, acting early is always the way to go. That is why I am looking for current JUNIORS in Fort Wayne area high schools who would like to be a part of my Senior Rep Team. As a rep for Jill Sloffer Photography, he or she will receive the following:

  • a big discount on his/her senior photo session package
  • the opportunity to be a part of a professionally styled shoot with other JSP reps
  • cash back for every friend or classmate who he/she refers and books a session with me (and the friend gets a discount on his/her session too! Win, win, win!)

It will not be a lot of work– if you like to be in front of the camera (professional modeling experience is NOT required) and you like to post photos on Instagram or Facebook, you are who I’m looking for! Please email me at jill@jillsloffer.com and I will send you more information and an application. I will only be able to have one or two senior reps from each high school, so don’t wait too long! Applications are due by March 31st!

Due Date

Maddie | Class of 2016

I am FINALLY taking the time to share some of my most recent photography sessions! I’ve been so busy shooting and editing, that the blog part of this gig has been completely ignored. I’m really trying to do better. I promise.

First up is Maddie. This gorgeous Carroll High School senior was a natural in front of the camera and I such a fantastic time during her shoot.

Sugar Love Boutique | Becca’s Picks

Let’s not even talk about how overlooked this poor blog is, okay? We’ll move right on to the pretty pictures!

Here is some of my most recent work! I was thrilled to photograph Becca Tilley (fans of The Bachelor don’t need me to explain why this would be so exciting!) in her favorites from Sugar Love Boutique‘s fall line.

Not all items are available yet online, but Fort Wayne folks can find lots of them at Sugar Love Boutique in Woodland Plaza.

And there are tons of other beautiful items at sugarloveboutique.com. Happy Shopping, ladies!

Hailee | Class of 2015

Hello! Welcome back to my oh-so neglected blog! My goal this winter was to catch up on blogging some of my favorite sessions, but here we are in May and you can see how well my plan worked out! My revised plan is to share with you sessions of my wonderful seniors who will be graduating in the coming month!

First up is Hailee, my niece! How much do I love this girl?! She is so sweet and extremely funny. My kids just adore her and always beg for a sleepover when she comes to visit, which Hailee very kindly agrees to! During a visit last November, Hailee, her mom, and I ventured around Fort Wayne, trying to find spots out of the freezing cold wind, and had ourselves a fabulous senior photo shoot! You can tell Hailee’s a Wisconsin Girl– she doesn’t even look cold!

Here are some of my favorites…

Best Face of 2014 | I Heart Faces Challenge

It’s feels like forever since I’ve entered a photo into an I Heart Faces Challenge– I’ve missed it! One of my all-time favorite 2014 pictures is from my first Red Thread Session with sweet Soliana and her new family– here she is with her big sister having the cutest giggle. Happy New Year everyone! Cheers to lots of giggles and love in 2015!

Allie | Class of 2015

I’m putting my “To Do” list on hold this afternoon and taking a minute to play catch up on the blog!

I’ve been dying to share more of Allie’s senior session. Allie is a senior this year at Bishop Dwenger High School in Fort Wayne and had been crowned Homecoming Queen just a week or two before our session together (as you will see! :))
